Frostbreaker is a small guardian assembled from a reclaimed seashell, perforated brass, found circuitry, and four cold resin cubes held behind a metal cross-barrier. A warm, battery-powered backlight glows behind the brass facial plate, giving the figure a quiet, ember-like presence — as if the sculpture carries its own internal heat source.
The polished brass face and horn-like extensions give Frostbreaker a stance that feels both protective and defiant. Its illuminated core suggests stored warmth, a pulse of resilience in contrast to the icy presence pressing at the barrier behind it.
Though this piece is now SOLD, it remains in the archive as part of the Micro-Guardians series — an evolving body of sculptural works exploring tiny protectors built from found materials, hybrid forms, and the quiet politics of warmth, shelter, and defense.
